Davey, our Friday’s 5.45pm runners and cyclists yoga teacher, maintains his mental strength and well-being through his five pillars that he has developed and lives his life by. These practices have helped him, especially through the darker months, to stay present, grounded and happier.
Davey’s 5 Pillars:
Be Active: Find your physical activity, whether it’s cycling, yoga, or a leisurely stroll with the dog, to embrace an active lifestyle that suits you.
Take Notice: Tune into your emotions, surroundings, and senses, fostering mindfulness and self-awareness.
Connect: Strengthen your social bonds by engaging in meaningful conversations, active listening, and building connections with others.
To Learn: Feed your mind with new knowledge, courses, or captivating books to keep it agile and curious.
Give: Share your kindness with the world, whether through volunteering or simple acts of generosity, and experience the joy of making a positive impact (even making a loved one a cup of tea).
After each class, Davey sets aside 10-15 minutes for anyone that needs or wants to have a chat, about any topic. Join Davey every Friday at 5.45pm, find and book on his classes here.
