- Day Retreat (In Person) Sunday 16th April – to open this powerful programme and begin your ‘Spring Cleanse’ with Yoga, Breathwork, Kriya, Meditation, Relaxation, Self Inquiry, Yogic Lifestyle & Ayurvedic Vegan Food.
- 4 x On Demand Classes (Online) – each on-demand class to be taken for 10 consecutive days. Each class is 30 minutes –building on the work from the previous class and providing a consistent touch point for daily practice that will fit around your usual classes.
- 6 x Coaching Sessions (5 x Online, 1 x Studio) dates opposite – to hold you accountable and keep you motivated.
- Optional Ayurvedic Cleanse – to reset & strengthen your digestive fire for supporting your body’s natural detoxification process.
- Access To A Private Facebook Group for daily inspiration and support.
- Resources – Some additional information will be shared to support your Spring cleanse and journey of expansion.

Each Daily Class is designed to help you transform your challenges into opportunities, and build resilience, and discover your inner power. Experience asana, breathwork, and meditation to help you purge old emotions, ignite your inner fire, boost your energy and staying power, change your internal dialogue, and set you on a course for success in your consistency on & off the yoga mat.
Each Coaching Sessions will allow you to feel fully supported, connected to others on their journey, inspired and empowered to self-reflect and self- correct, and hold you accountable to your commitment to your practice, health and intentions.

Optional Ayurvedic Cleanse: There will be an invitation to take part in your own ayurvedic cleanse for a period of 3 – 5 days with the group to assist your body’s natural detoxification & rejuvenation process. Ayurveda seeks to support your body, not deny it, and if you are cleansing it’s important to make sure you’re doing so to help your body do what it’s supposed to do naturally.
Heather will share some resources for diet and lifestyle including guidelines from Ayurveda that are suggestions for you to inform your choices at this time of Year.
What is shared with you is not designed to replace any medical advice, and taking part is your responsibility. If you have a medical condition, especially relating to your digestion, it’s best to talk to your doctor before any kind of change to your diet and nutrition.
This programme is open to all, and it will work with you whatever level of Yoga you’re at and with what you are focussing on in your life, to give your body and mind a helping hand with the tools from yoga and coaching.
Why 40 Days?
This Programme takes place over 40 days – the length of time is said to break old negative patterns and set in motion & cement a new positive habit!
A habit is a subconscious chain reaction between the mind, the glandular system and the nervous system. We develop habits throughout our life – with some of them helpful and serving our optimal health, whilst others that are not supportive for our wellbeing!
We can change our habitual behavior through making a deep commitment and repeating new actions over a period of time – including mindful approaches to moving, breathing, managing our thoughts, and clearing emotional baggage.
By taking part in the 40-days of daily Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation – it will build your commitment and progress in the experience of these practices which in turn starts to transform your life. You will not only create and set the habit of a regular practice and reap the benefits of this with a deeper connection to self, more ease and joy – but it can help rewire the current chain reaction and develop new, ingrained habits that serve you with your what you are working towards and intentions – and set you up for long lasting success!
Having the support of a teacher & guide is key to helping you stay focussed, committed, and dedicated with shapeshifting & transforming. And being in community with others going on this journey together will strengthen your staying power, allow you to lean into one another for motivation & inspiration, and a safe space to cheer on & celebrate each other – via weekly live coaching sessions and a dedicated private Facebook group.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the 40 days program again so far this year. I did the program last year and back then it was a brilliant way to rehabilitate from an injury. I found that the shorter practices daily was so much better for my body than longer practices less regularly. This was a revelation at the time!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the workshops at the beginning, looking back over the past year and being encouraged to set some actions in motion was really helpful and actually reflecting on last year‘s this time was really encouraging, as I could read through my intentions for last year and notice all the changes I had made. Last year doing the 40 days program completely changed my morning routine and this is something I’ve stuck with. It was nice to revisit that this year and to appreciate the change I’ve made.
I think you have provided a really powerful program that has really benefited me in terms of not only the physical practice, gaining strength and the encouragement of a regular practice, but the weaving of themes linked to focus, attention and thought of working towards something I found a potent mix.
The style of yoga is, as always, something that I really enjoy. It is strong but with plenty of attention to breath so you really feel what you are doing.
For me, the positives of the 40 days program include the regularity of practice, the feeling of gaining strength in my body, the recurrent prompts to focus on presence, focus, attention & encouragement to continue on my inner journey. All the different breath practices and meditation practices have been varied, interesting & fun.
I’ve loved it & I can’t wait to do it again next year and to look back at where I was and realise the shifts. I would really recommend people give this a try and I will be back next year for sure!! I actually think everyone would benefit from a program like this!!

I signed up for the 40 days New Intentions as I needed something new to focus on. I felt as though I was just existing and had no enthusiasm for anything. I did not expect to come out of the 40 days with such a different mindset. I learnt to pause, reflect and be aware. I discovered that I had choices and the power of choice. If something isn’t serving me then I need to change. I became stronger physically and mentally from the consistency and repetition of all the sessions. The support from Heather and the rest of the group made a huge difference. I did not hesitate to sign up for the next 40 Days – Cleanse Integrate Illuminate as the only downside from the last 40 days was it ending.

Join Heather for this super inspiring, playful & powerfully purifying day of Yoga & Ayurvedic practices, techniques & lifestyle to help achieve a physical, mental & energetic ‘Spring Clean’!
This season is a time of renewal in nature and also in ourselves, and a perfect opportunity to give the body & mind a good clean just like you would your home! As you dust away the cobwebs and clear out the debris built up during the dark months – we can renew across all levels of ourselves – physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically – through specific tools & practices from Yoga. When we declutter and let go of the things that you no longer need – this opens up space for newness, and presents a prime opportunity to start again & call in a fresh energy and intentions for the warmer months ahead – including for the yoga practice, diet, daily routines, and revisiting goals.
In this day long retreat held at our beautiful yoga centre in Saltaire you will explore a variety of accessible yoga techniques which can help in the daily detoxification & rejuvenation process on all levels of our being:
- Asanas (postures) especially twists, side bends, core work, and backbends that work on assisting the body’s natural cleansing including the digestive system.
- Breathing Techniques (Pranayama) – specific ones that clear stagnant energy and assist with purifying, energising & balancing our systems
- Kriya’s (Cleansing Techniques) different types will be introduced.
- Yogic lifestyle includes Heather sharing her daily wellness ritual (Dinacharya from Ayurveda- the sister science of Yoga) – with tools & tips and how to set up one for yourself. including tongue scraping, nose (neti) cleaning, and abhyanga (warm oil massage) which you can adopt for self-care routines to enhance your vitality on and off the mat!
- Reflection and Contemplation for your Personal Development to take inventory of where you are and how you want to be showing up in the 2nd half of 2024.
- We will finish the session with a deeply restful yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and meditation for a full integration of all you have received.

Yoga Teacher and Transformational Coach
Heather is a Registered Senior Yoga Teacher with over 4000 hours of training & teaching, and the Founder & Director of Heather Yoga – a Yoga school & wellness centre based in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. She is also a certified Transformational Life Coach.
Heather has been teaching for over 12 Years in UK & India, including being an educator for trainee teachers, and now leads her own yoga teacher training and teacher mentorship programmes. Her ongoing 19-year practice of Yoga has become an integral part of her life, and she is dedicated to this path – enjoying the exploration of body & mind wellness and heart-centred living through the powerful practices on & off the Yoga mat, and sharing her wealth of knowledge & wisdom with others to support them on their journey
