Confidently include pregnant women in your general yoga classes

As a Yoga Teacher, it’s likely that pregnant women are going to want to drop-in to your class. Do you know how to safely and easily include pregnant students into your existing plan? Would you like to build your skill and confidence in this area? Or perhaps you’re considering undertaking your Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training and would first like to find out more!

This training module is suitable for Yoga Teachers and those in-training. It’s also for those in related professions including midwives, fitness instructors, physios and other healthcare workers. It’s also targeted toward women with an established yoga practice who are pregnant, or planning pregnancy to be able to continue practising safely and effectively.

In this 4 hour module, you will be guided through a yoga class suitable for pregnant women. By the end of the module, you will be able to confidently include pregnant students who attend your general yoga class, knowing what’s helpful to include and postures to avoid.

About The Teacher

Lauren Belle

I love to teach community yoga, pregnancy yoga, deep relaxation & Slow Flow Vinyasa. I have completed additional accredited training in pregnancy & postnatal and Restorative yoga at Triyoga London. I am grateful to many yoga teachers including Sally Parkes and Vigyana.

I initially trained in contemporary dance and worked in dance for many years, followed by a career in mental health services. My approach as a yoga teacher is friendly and down to earth. When you come to my yoga class I’d like you to feel respected, clear headed and generally better physically & mentally afterwards.

When I’m not yoga-ing and I am looking after my two young children.
