Following an injury which left me suffering from chronic pain, a physiotherapist encouraged me to try yoga. Over time the combination of movement, breath work and meditation helped me to better manage pain and build strength, stability and flexibility.
I hope through teaching, I can introduce others to a practice that has done so much for me, to encourage people to give yoga a try, to have a little wiggle and most of all enjoy it.
I’m passionate about keeping our bodies moving no matter our limitations and increasing our awareness of what our body and mind needs in the moment, so that we can better look after ourselves. My classes are accessible, calming and mindful, with a focus on flowing with the breath so that you can move with greater ease and awareness both on and off the yoga mat.
