10 Hour CPD
Mobility & Building Stronger Yogis
Saturday 21st March | 9:30am – 6:30pm

Mobility & Building Stronger Yogis
For years, yoga in the West has often been portrayed as primarily a flexibility practice, with a sprinkle of spirituality for good measure. But is yoga really about pushing to extremes? Are we striving for extreme flexibility and passive range of motion? And if we are—let’s ask the tough question—is that actually serving our bodies in the long run?
Maybe it’s time to reframe yoga as a practice of balance. Physically speaking, sure, many people do need to work on improving their flexibility to create harmony in their bodies. But just as often, yogis need to develop more strength and stability to support their long-term health and well-being.
In this workshop, we’ll dive into:
- How to incorporate mobility-focused explorations into yoga flows.
- The importance of exploring active range before moving into passive range.
- Practical ways to integrate mobility drills into your teaching.
Ultimately, this is about equipping both you and your students with the tools to create balanced, resilient, and injury-free bodies for the long haul. Because yoga isn’t just about getting your leg behind your head—it’s about finding strength, stability, and sustainable practices for life.
10 hour certificated CPD for yoga teachers and trainees; but enthusiastic students can also join. Includes 2 hours of online training via Adam Husler.

Yoga can be seen ultimately as practice of balance in ever sense and in this extended practice, we’ll be exploring multiple pathways that might help you land I a more centred state .

From a mind perspective you’ll be guided breathwork, informed by contemporary science and explore a ground , non dogmatic meditiion, designed to help you meet you exactly where you want you are We’ll wind down with a yoga nidra inspired relaxation and a well deserved savasana.
There’ll be plenty of chance for self-enquiry in this long practice; physically, mentally and, perhaps, spiritually. Options will be provided throughout and anyone with some vinyasa experience is welcome.
