Doors are open for our next 200hr Teacher Training Course!

Would you like to step into a transformational experience to enliven, level up and deepen your Yoga practice, get aligned with your purpose & uncover the teacher within!

Embarking on a teacher training course can be a powerful journey of self discovery, designed to teach you how to skilfully guide others and become qualified to teach Yoga. BUT you don’t have to become a teacher on completion of the course, a 200hr programme can also be transformative for your personal practice! Or support you as a massage therapist, physiotherapist, sound healer, school teacher.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly down-to-earth studio suited to those who want to go a little deeper, whilst being fully supported.

We have an Early Bird Offer for this course - Saving you a huge £300 if you book before the end of February.

If you’re curious to know more you can book a 1:1 discovery call with me to talk through your options. This journey requires a big commitment in time, money and energy so a discovery call is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We also advocate for choosing the course that resonates with you, we hope you will with us!

What is Qigong (pronounced chee-gung)?

Qigong means cultivating life energy; qi - life energy, gong - to cultivate with time and effort. It is a blend of active and dynamic movements, breathing, visualisation and meditation techniques aimed at cultivating healthy qi flow through the body. It has its roots in Daoism and Buddhism and is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our time together will include an introduction to the season, warmups, seasonal qigong forms (movements) and meditation.

Winter Practice is an invitation to create a simple, consistent practice through one of the busiest and darkest times of the year. Seeing us through to Winter Solstice.

Across 21 Days, you’ll work with three specially created practices of approximately 30 minutes, combining accessible movement and breath. Each practice is repeated for seven consecutive days. Rather than constantly moving on to something new, repetition gives you the opportunity to experience the practice differently each time - noticing what shifts in your body, energy, focus and relationship with your practice as you keep showing up.

We had some beautiful assessment classes yesterday and we still have a few more to go. ✨ Come support our newest Yoga Teacher Trainees! ✨

One of the most rewarding parts of our Yoga Teacher Training is watching our trainees grow into confident, compassionate teachers. We're so proud of this year's group as they reach their final teaching assessments.

To complete their training, each trainee will be teaching a FREE 45-minute open-level yoga class, and we'd love to fill the room with friendly, supportive faces from our community. 💛
Whether you're a regular at the studio or have been thinking about trying a class, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a free practice while helping our trainees take their final step towards becoming qualified yoga teachers.

If you've been curious about joining our Yoga Teacher Training next year, these assessment classes are also a great chance to experience the calibre of teaching our trainees develop and the supportive community you'll become part of.

We’re so excited to welcome for the first time internationally recognised teacher and movement educator Julie Martin to Heather Yoga. She will be invitating you to to move beyond the external form of yoga and enter into a deeper conversation with your body.

🌀 Two Day Immersion: Movement from Within – Fascia, Embodiment & the Art of Listening with Julie Martin
Through 3 interconnected sessions, we’ll explore fascia as a living, sensory network—and discover how it influences the way we move, feel, adapt and respond.

"We are often taught yoga through shapes: where to place the foot, how far to stretch, what a posture should look like. But the body doesn’t experience movement as a collection of separate shapes. There is an inherent intelligence that we’ve lost touch with. The body experiences sensation, rhythm, relationship, memory and response. We can learn how to have a dialogue with the body."

Slow, restorative postures encouraging deep physical release, joint flexibility, and nervous system regulation. Autumn gently invites us to shed what no longer serves us, making room for new growth.

Through the gentle, meditative practice of Yin Yoga, we’ll work deeply into the connective tissues, joints, and fascia, allowing the body to soften and release held tension. Longer-held postures, conscious breathing, and periods of stillness will encourage the nervous system to settle, creating a sense of grounding, spaciousness, and deep rest.
