This breathwork technique called Segmented/ Stroke

This breathwork technique called Segmented/ Strokes Breath is such a great quick pick me up, and also a pattern & habit interrupter - helping to cut through all of the churning and rumination of the mind, and provide a powerful pause.

How to Practice:
🔆You break the breath into 4 parts (strokes of little sniffs) and then breathe out one long breath.
🔆Do it for a couple of minutes at least to start with - and then work up to 5 minutes if you can.

It’s a fantastic practice if you are trying to break a habit - so when you’re about to reach for the thing you’re trying to move away from (sugar, caffeine, cigarette, alcohol, pick an argument, scrolling on the phone!) - try this breath and see what happens! ⚡️I’d love to know how you get on - Share your experience and questions in the comments🤗

Join Lucía for this Somatic Yin special session that will leave your body and mind feeling nourished and relaxed.

Some of the benefits of Yin Yoga could be that it promotes hydration, re-establishes elasticity, facilitates regeneration of collagen and creates space at joints (reducing friction and in-turn, pain) and helps building patience and tolerance.

We will be holding poses according to a set theme on each session and allowing ourselves time to connect with our bodies, our sensations and our psyches.

These new monthly pop ups will be super special evening practice, prepare yourself for being immersed in a softly illuminated space to create an enchanted atmosphere. Music and lighting will be used to create a dreamscape experience.

Who is Collette Davis?
My offerings are an ongoing inquiry into embodied liberation and I facilitate intuitive moving meditations that guide students into the liminal and imaginal realms of the somatic unconscious.

YIELD. (12-3pm)
An Introduction To Tantra, Somatic Movement & Embodied Flow™️ Yoga
This is a deep and immersive experience that is curated to a soundscape and will include philosophy, somatic movement, time for journaling, drawing and restful integration. It is accessible to anyone who is curious to go deeper and widen their understanding of yogic practice. This is not an āsana class.

Mantra, Music & The Muse (4-6pm)
Chant mantras, sit with sutras, explore the teachings and be soothed into a dreamy sound bath with Georgie Buchanan, who weaves harp, singing bowls and song to slip you into a state of deep rest. For people looking to go deeper into yogic practice and their spiritual path.

Pair Yield (12-3pm) with Mantra, Music & The Muse (4-6pm) and save £10
There will be options to purchase small savoury or sweet bites and hot/cold drinks between the two workshops at Dandelion Café.
