BEGINNERS INTRODUCTION TO MODERN PILATES COURSE

This structured 5-week programme introduces you to the essential foundations of Modern Pilates in a supportive group environment. Designed for complete beginners or anyone wanting to revisit the basics, it offers clear guidance,  exercises, and steady weekly progression.

The Course Includes:

  • 5×60-minute weekly sessions

  • Weekly recordings to rewatch and gradual exercise progressions
  • Focus on key Pilates principles: centring, breathing, control, concentration, precision, integrated isolation, routine and flow

In Each Session You Will:

  • Practise foundational Pilates exercises with supportive, personalised instruction
  • Learn safe progressions and modifications to suit your body
  • Build strength, flexibility, balance and postural awareness
  • Explore core activation, breathing techniques, and gentle whole-body conditioning
  • Develop confidence and clarity to join regular Pilates classes

By the End of the Course:

  • You’ll be more aware and connected to your body, how it moves, feels and how to control it

About The Teacher

Natalie McGuire

Natalie started attending Pilates classes in 2004 and since then it has been her ‘go to’ for feeling unknotted and relaxed! She credits Pilates for strengthening her core, bringing awareness to her movements and improving her posture and balance, so her body is better prepared for the unexpected.

She took a leap away from the corporate world and indulged her passion by training with APPI, a Pilates Company led by Physiotherapists, who have taken the classical moves from Joseph Pilates and have broken them down into levels, to help with rehabilitation of the body. Since qualifying Natalie started her own Pilates Company. Her style is purposeful, detailed, nurturing and lighthearted using lots of visual prompts to help focus on ensuring correct muscle activation and movement. Her sessions help to stretch, strengthen and mobilise our bodies, appreciating how they move, and how posture, balance and control are all affected.

Join Natalie on Mondays 9.30am, Wednesdays 11am and Sundays 9.30am for Pilates (online or in the studio) — friendly classes that welcomes both beginners and regulars alike.
