I qualified with my 200-hour Yoga Alliance Vinyasa Flow teacher training last year, I have also studied a 40-hour Yin and Mindfulness Meditation teacher training and am a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher. I initially found yoga through climbing and with my background in climbing coaching I have come to know the benefits of yoga for body and mind in my sport and my life. In particular the benefits for my mental health, which is why I am passionate about sharing yoga with others. This has led me to volunteer for Leeds Mind Charity, running a weekly yoga class for them. I also teach Yoga for Climbers, Yin Yang Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes.

I am inspired by nature and the freedom I gain from movement. I love being outdoors, climbing, running, gardening and I take every opportunity I can to practice yoga outside. Through my background in science and my connection with the natural world, this has led me to pursue the healing benefits of herbs. I am currently enjoying studying herbal medicine and exploring this in connection with yoga. I love the holistic approach to wellness and the important role yoga plays in that.

My classes blend both mindful and intuitive movement. Using your breath to focus your attention, I think of it as a moving meditation. I love how yoga allows you to explore your body and mind, while having fun at the same time. How it gives you the opportunity to drop from your mind into your body and that much needed headspace to just be.
