Get ready to arrive at an idyllic, unspoiled paradise in South Goa far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life, where you can be immersed in nature, and given space to unplug, reset & receive. This unique transformative yoga retreat includes accommodation in beach-front bungalows beneath the luscious green umbrella of coconut palms, scrumptious vegan meals, daily morning and evening yoga and meditation sessions, Ayurvedic massage, sunrise dolphin trip, guided walks to other beaches and Agonda village, and your own Dinacharya morning routine self-care toolkit.
Set in the stunning & tranquil little Khola beach, South Goa, with a backdrop of terraced coconut groves and jungle life, you will live simply, peacefully and radiantly for 7 Days on this spectacular, almost uninhabited, cove beach and private bay. You will dine on an Indian vegan food feast to nurture you and your senses, experience your practice in the ocean facing open-air yoga shala, and relax on warm sand under the palm shade in your comfortable natural wooden bungalow.
The Practice & Schedule:
In the early morning there will be fresh hot ginger & lemon and chai teas served to your room, and you will be given the opportunity to explore yogic cleansing techniques to cleanse your senses as you call in the new day. You’ll then take your seat in the shala for pranayama (breathwork), meditation & journaling to awaken into a space of deep self awareness, connection & clarity, before feasting on a vibrant tropical breakfast of fruits and coconuts fresh from the trees around you.
After some time for you to soak in the morning waves, walk with the warm sand under your bare feet and chill in the hammock – you’ll then explore a mid-morning 2 hour Vinyasa based yoga practice that will be steady, mindful and balanced to bring you into your body, invigorate your energy, and meet you where you’re at.
Throughout the week you will freshen, re-inspire and deepen your practice focusing on different pose groups including back bends, hip openers, standing poses, arm-balances and inversions. Whatever your range of ability and experience Heather will provide you with her expert guidance and intelligent sequencing to tackle aspects of yoga and break them down in a way which makes it easy to understand and incorporate into your yoga practice.
After a long restful Svanasana its time for us to lunch – dining in the shade of the midday Sun on another delicious selection of ayurvedic based dishes with tea and something to follow.
The hours that follow are ‘you time’ until the late afternoon practice.
There in this session you will explore various yoga practices and techniques, including restorative and yin practices with a selection of forward bends, twists and side-bends, and Yoga Nidra guided for deep relaxation. We’ll also include some discussion around lifestyle including the yogic cleansing techniques as part of the daily morning routine on retreat. You will also be given the tools to establish and develop your seated meditation and pranayama practice.
On this retreat, as part of a small intimate group, Heather will share her knowledge and experience with her accessible and down to earth approach, providing the perfect opportunity to deepen your practice both physically and internally.
You also have the option to experience 121 life coaching with her – which can be booked in addition to the course package.
As twilight arrives, dinner is served under the coconut palms serenaded by a soothing soundtrack of cicadas and the ocean waves. Stories are told, laughter is shared, new friendships are formed, and forever memories are made under the light of the moon.

As a group we include an early morning dolphin watching trip, a guided walk to the nearby beach, hike over to Agonda beach for sunset, as well as an evening stroll to the rocks at Khola for a meditation.
You’ll also get to experience a nourishing and rejuvenating ayurvedic massage from one of the expert practitioners onsite as part of your retreat package.
Between lunch and evening practice every day is your time, plus one day there is no late afternoon practice to allow you a full afternoon & evening to do your own thing.
You might decide to explore outside the retreat location with Rickshaws, taxis and motorcycles available to be booked to transport you where you desire.
Away from the retreat you will find Agonda beach, a captivating 3km long beach just a 25 minute rickshaw/taxi drive away, or you can reach it by a 45 minute hilltop hike. With a colourful array of shops, restaurants and cafes the hum of village life perfectly complements the sanctuary that is Khola.
Additional Ayurvedic massages and treatments are available from either on location or in nearby Agonda.
Other beaches including Patnem, Galgibaga (Turtle Beach), Cabo De Rama Fort and the local town of Chaudi (Canacona) are around 12 – 15km away with above transport options available.

With Heather’s many years of living, studying and teaching in South Goa – she is very knowledgeable about the local area and knows the people well, having made many friends along the way with her time spent there. This is Heather’s home from home so expect to feel super relaxed, comfortable, taken care of and also very much at home in this paradise.

You will arrive on the first day of the retreat Saturday 24th February 2024 at around 4pm and time for yourself to settle in to your beach location home for the next 7 days, and then enjoy late afternoon practice and dinner.Departure on the last day of the retreat Saturday 2nd March 2024 will be after morning practice and brunch.
Room check out time is 12noon.
