Body brushing is a non negotiable in my daily routine for Autumn and Winter! It’s a powerful way to enhance circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system, assist the natural process of detoxification in the body and help support & boost your immunity!
It’s great to practice it in the morning to help wake you up, and will give your skin a lovely radiant glow for the day!
We can experience sluggishness & lethargy in the colder months- so we need to give our body a helping hand to remove stagnation and boost our energy. Dry skin brushing is such a helpful and easy tool for this!
Just grab yourself a dry skin brush, or some of these sisal gloves which I like to use.
Before you shower – brush up the body towards the heart starting at the feet. Use long firm strokes. Around the groin, belly, chest and breasts use circulation motions. These are key areas where your lymph nodes reside so you want to give them attention to stimulate and support the lymphatic drainage.
