Learning Chaturanga as a pose away from flowing into form one pose to the next was a game changer for me! And understanding my body in the pose, how to practice for this body, knowing the modifications and also understanding there’s other things I can be doing instead of Chaturanga when the teacher calls out ‘Chaturanga – Updog Dog – Downdog’ in Vinyasa/ Ashtanga Yoga and Sun Salutations really supported me to be safe, efficient, and sustainable in the way I was practicing, and also progressing forward!
