Frances graduated with us last year and has already begun teaching in a Leeds yoga studio. Although she had a dancing background, she has spent the last 10+ years dedicated to bringing up her children. So for her, it felt like quite a radical act to commit to something that was solely for her again.

“It’s amazing how joyful and lifted we feel, when we connect with the breath and connect with the present moment.”

Frances is really interested in bringing this practice to women and particularly disadvantaged women, who perhaps don’t have the easiest access to movement practices. As well as weaving in her dancing, movement and mobility knowledge, to create classes that are welcoming spaces. She was also known on the course for being an amazing baker! So we’re sure she’ll be weaving in her baking skills for future attendees too.

We can all bring our unique touch to our classes and offerings and speak to different people. Even if those people are your closest friends and family. Unravelling your own purpose for sharing the practice is a beautiful part of the journey!
