Why 40 days? (And why 5 or 21 isn’t the same)
Because real change needs time, repetition and safety. When we practise consistently, the nervous system learns that it’s safe to settle, adapt and respond differently. Over time, repetition builds new neural pathways, helping old habits loosen and new rhythms take root.
This is why we practise for 40 days: not to push harder, but to stay long enough for real, embodied change to happen.
