Ignite your inner fire! 🔥
Nauli Kriya and Agni Sara Kriya – are techniques from Yoga that fuels your inner fire, stokes digestion, promotes elimination, clears your mind and activates prana. Agni means fire, which is the elemental quality responsible for digestion. We need our digestive fire to be strong especially as we enter Autumn & Winter – as we can be more prone to stagnation and sluggishness which affects the metabolism and our energy, vitality and immune system.
They both include a pumping of the belly on a breath retention – which massages the abdominal organs.
I will be guiding you with these tools in our ‘Autumn Reset Day Retreat’ on 6th October, and as part of the daily practices in the ‘40 Days Autumn Immunity & Vitality Boost’ throughout October & November. Details for both in the bio.
To practice – watch this and try the standing or seated variations.
🔥Inhale long and slow through the nose.
🔥Exhale long and complete out for the mouth – stick out the tongue like a fiery lions breath!
🔥Don’t breath in – draw the belly in and then pump it a few times. Make sure to do this on no breath!
🔥In time with practice you start to practice a churning motion of the belly.
🔥Then relax the belly before you breath slowly in the nose, and then exhale slowly through the nose.
🔥Repeat the technique a couple of times.
🔥Try it in the morning on an empty stomach as part of your daily routine and reap the wonderful benefits for your digestive health, energy levels and boosting immunity!
